Polyester Slub DTY Yarn, also known as Doris, is a 100% polyester specialty yarn with a distinctive "slub" effect achieved through special processing of standard DTY. Available in both bright and semi-dull lusters, Doris features an irregular thick-and-thin texture similar to bamboo "slubs" but with a smooth touch. The prominent "slub" effect sets it apart from regular DTY, giving it a unique, slightly fuzzy appearance, earning it the nickname "Caterpillar."

Technically, Polyester Slub DTY Yarn is produced through a special texturizing process using POY, which creates its unique slub texture. It offers numerous advantages, including high durability, moisture absorption, wrinkle resistance, easy care, and eco-friendliness.

Thanks to its smooth texture, Polyester Slub DTY Yarn in 50D-200D is also ideal for making garments, offering a lighter, sleeker option compared to other larger denier fibers.
